Christian Aid partners from the Middle East in Edinburgh

The Friends are pleased to be partnering with Christian Aid, yet again, for another unique event. Please join us on 19th March from 2-3:30pm in Augustine United Church, Edinburgh or online, to hear more about the current situation in the holy land and how Christian Aid and their partners are responding.

We will be welcoming Leila El Ali, the Executive Director of Association Najdah, which is a development charity that works with Palestinian women and children refugees in Lebanon.

We will also hear from Dr. Hassan Jabareen, the General Director of Adalah: The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel. As well as Peter Nasir, General Secretary of EJ-YMCA (The East Jerusalem Young Men's Christian Association), which is a Palestinian community-based organisation working to empower youth and communities.
